Restored Story
At the end of March 2026, we were able to set the nine family members of Khalid Masih free from slavery. Khalid's son Aizak was run down by a crane in the kiln, suffering massive injuries to his back and kidneys. He was admitted to the hospital in Lahore, but the cost would have been impossible for the family. Our supporters in New Zealand acted immediately, and we were able to cover the medical costs and also to set this family free in three days. Aizak has now been released from the hospital and reunited with his family in their new home. Khalid has a new job, his children are at school, and their future is positive. This is an ongoing freedom story, and we will add to this narrative when we visit Khalid in late May 2026.
